At Blood-Lab, we are committed to delivering high-quality blood testing and diagnostic services. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued and how they are processed. It is written in accordance with UK consumer law.
2. Applicability
This policy applies to all services purchased from Blood-Lab, whether online, by phone, or in person. It does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
3. Refund Eligibility
Due to the nature of medical testing, once a service has begun (for example, blood sample collected, test kit issued, or appointment attended), a refund is generally not available.
Refunds may be issued only if:
the service was not provided at all due to our fault;
the service was not delivered with reasonable care and skill;
the service delivered was materially different from what was purchased.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
If you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled time.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may qualify for a refund or service credit.
Cancellations made within 48 hours, or any failure to attend your appointment (“no-show”), are non-refundable.
No-show appointments cannot be rebooked free of charge and will require a new booking.
5. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the issue being identified.
Please include:
your full name
booking reference
date of service
reason for your request
We will review your request and notify you of the outcome.
6. Refund Processing Time — 20 Days
If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 20 days. Refunds are issued using the same payment method used at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Non-Refundable Items
We are unable to provide refunds for:
missed or no-show appointments;
appointments cancelled within 48 hours;
completed tests or services once a sample has been taken;
consumables or laboratory work already started;
partial use of discounted packages;
services paid through third-party providers (their refund terms may apply).
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy restricts your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK legislation.
